Christopher Petit

C’est en travaillant comme éditeur de la section cinéma du magazine Time Out que Christopher Petit a eu l’occasion de rencontrer Wim Wenders. Ce dernier l’a soutenu dans son premier projet à l’écran, Radio On. Chris Petit est un réalisateur avant-gardiste, connu pour ses réalisations expérimentales, tant sur le plan narratif qu’esthétique.

La phrase

The concept behind my films is spatial : they're about border zones - geographical, political, of identity. The reduction of the dramatic and human element in them is really a response to the problem of how to get rid of class, whose gradations condition so much of English cinema.
